Drew Barrymore Recreates 'Charlie's Angels' 2003 Premiere Look

Drew Barrymore is always more than happy to bring up Charlie's Angels, talking positively about about the filming experience and regularly inviting her co-stars, Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu, onto her show. And now, Barrymore is doing one better by recreating her iconic premiere look for the movie's sequel—down to the sarcastic t-shirt.

On June 5, the talk show host shared a video of her swapping her medium length flowy brown locks and bare face for her look from the New York City premiere of Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle in 2003, where she famously donned dewy skin, smoldering dark eyeshadow, a grey t-shirt that read "My boyfriend is out of town" and black leather pants.

The new video sees Barrymore looking almost exactly like herself from 21 years prior, swapping out her brown hair for a perfectly tousled blonde wig and donning the same "My boyfriend is out of town" shirt—this time, with high waisted white pants. In a series of images posted to her Instagram feed, Barrymore excitedly smiled in the pictures for the reveal, with the post caption reading, "Tomorrow, Drew gets a makeover from the DREAM TEAM (aka @charlottetilbury, @chrisappleton1 & @shanidarden) - don’t miss it!"

Fans in the comments section of the post loved Barrymore's transformation, with one user in the comments section writing, "Ok Lucy Whitmore !!!! Always beautiful Drew!!!" and another user adding, "Yesss! drew is BACK to blonde!! My fav drew era!! Keep it and rock it!!" The makeover, notably, comes amid the 21st anniversary of Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, later this month on June 27.
