Summer is here and Cate has had the obligatory hot weather chop. And naturally, the Carol actress has gone for the chicest wavy bob imaginable.

Cate Blanchett debuted her new 'do on June 25 when stepping out at the Giorgio Armani Prive Haute Couture Fall/Winter show at Paris Fashion Week. Blanchett, who had previously been wearing her blonde hair in a shoulder-length lob, opted for a sharp chin-length bob to welcome in the hottest months of the year. She wore her new cropped locks in gentle waves, swept back from her forehead and tucked behind her ears in an easy, breezy, oh so Parisian style.

Her hair stylist, Nicola Clarke, took to Instagram to share a post about Blanchett's new trim. Blanchett wore an elegant all-black satin jumpsuit while debuting her new style. The daring outfit featured a structural plunging strapless top and pants with an embellished cape-like structure around the hips. She completed the chic look with black heels and black sunglasses.

The newly bobbed Blanchett is busy as ever. She popped to Paris shortly after making a pit stop in London to catch Taylor Swift's Eras Tour. Her latest project, Disclaimer, a thriller series from director Alfonso Cuarón, is set to land on Apple TV+ this October.
