Travis Kelce Sweetly Addressed Taylor Swift's Success

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have become the poster children for healthy, supportive relationships, between Swift's attendance at Kansas City Chiefs games and Kelce's participation in the Eras Tour (from on and off the stage). The NFL star is so proud of his girlfriend that he's not afraid to admit that she's more famous than him.

During Wednesday's episode of "New Heights," Travis and his older brother, Jason, spoke about The Eras Tour shows in London this past weekend, which practically broke the internet thanks to a royal selfie, Travis's surprise on-stage cameo, and the star-studded VIP section. Both Travis and Jason praised Swift for her performance before Travis admitted that the Swifties at Wembley Stadium were much louder than the American football fans that attended his 2015 game at the same venue.

"Made it to the eras tour and watched Tay absolutely shred it," Kelce explained to listeners. "It was so cool, playing in front of 90,000 at Wembley stadium. I remember 2015, playing in front of 80,000 in Wembley and then seeing Tay up there going crazy. They get a lot louder for Taylor than they do for American football."

Travis, Jason, and his wife, Kylie, attended the Friday night Eras show together, marking Jason's first time seeing Swift on tour. The former NFL star called the show "insanely impressive." He added that he even got emotional at one point during the three-plus hour setlist.

"The 22 hat. Dude, I’ve never cried at a fucking concert. And I was literally tearing up watching this little girl," Jason said. "I’m about to tear up right now. It was fucking so special. It was great."

Later in the weekend, however, the crowd got pretty loud for Travis, who shocked Swifties by joining his girlfriend on stage during The Tortured Poets Department portion of the show. In fan videos shared on social media, the audience's excitement can certainly be heard as Kelce makes it into view before picking up his girlfriend and carrying her across the stage.
