We called it: Prince William is a total Swiftie.
On Friday, the Prince of Wales confirmed he is Taylor Swift's number one fan while celebrating his 42nd birthday during the first night of her Eras Tour in London, where he danced like nobody was watching (when in reality, all eyes were on him) in his private box at the concert. In fan-captured footage posted to X, William could be seen moving and grooving to Swift's 1989 hit "Shake It Off," enthusiastically swaying from side to side with his arms extended as the pop star sang the lyrics, "I, I, I shake it off, I shake it off," on stage.
William was joined by his two eldest children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, at the concert, and after the show, they snapped a cute selfie with Swift backstage. "Thank you @taylorswift for a great evening! #LondonTSTheErastour," the Prince and Princess of Wales wrote alongside a snapshot of the royal trio with Swift on Instagram.
Swift, meanwhile, posted a photo of herself posing with William, Charlotte, George, and her boyfriend, Travis Kelce to her grid, writing: "Happy Bday M8! London shows are off to a splendid start π¬π§πΊπΈπ€."
This isn't the first time the royal and Swiftie universes have overlapped. Back in 2013, William and Swift joined forces at the Winter Whites Gala in aid of Centrepoint at Kensington Palace, where they sang "Livin' On Prayer" together alongside Jon Bon Jovi. An iconic moment, indeed.
